I sewed my first quilt and tote bag at summer camp when I was nine years old. I studied at Rhode Island School of Design, earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College, and worked in theatrical costuming for more than sixteen years.

When I'm not sewing, I find inspiration in photography, puzzles, cooking, gardening, and dancing. I live in the Boston area with my husband and daughter.
